passport to paris | LOVELY LITTLE RANTS

passport to paris

So here's the drama. I don't have a passport. haha that's it. and sorry it actually isn't dramatic in the slightest. I honestly just wanted to name this post "passport to paris" because I am 23 and I still love the Olsen twins and their movies.

BUT
Jason, me, and our married friends Ashley, and Tanner are going to Rocky Point next month! I am not your average American because I have never been to Rocky Point. I've only been to Tijuana, Mexico when I was in grade school and yes, I did get my hair braided and yes I did look like white trash. There's only one slight teensy problem -you have to have your birth certificate to get a passport and I am really good at misplacing important documents. Really, I am! Ask Jason if you don't believe me.  I'm sure we will figure it out (pray for me, guys)

In other news, my best, Mrs. Shaney Price came to town last week! She stayed a few days with J and I and we, of course, watched Sleepover. I am very disappointed to see that the rotten tomatoes website gave it only 1 star. Shows how much taste they have for classics ;)

What kind of person isn't in to "lots of freewheeling fun!"????!

And one last thing, I got to work today and a BIRD was IN the BUILDING! The poor thing flew in through the door. Luckily, the building is made up of 90% windows.... we all know how much birds love running into windows. Anyways, after lots of work (not from me, from the bird catching people) they got the bird and put it outside. And here it is because who doesn't like a visual? And I just realized that homeboy is sitting on a cactus. He had a rough day.

  1. A bird in the building? That poor bird haha. One time a bird flew into my closed window (from the outside, though) over and over and over and over ALL DAY. It was so annoying and I have absolutely no idea why he did it but then he came back every single day for like 2 weeks. I even started chasing him with a broom... he didn't care. Anyway, getting your birth certificate is fairly easy. Just go to the city you were born in and buy one from their little town record secretary person. You can just google it to find out where to go. I've had to get a few for my daughter because I KEEP LOSING THEM! And I've never even heard of Rocky Point haha but have fun! OH AND I LOVE OLSEN TWINS MOVIES!

  5. What is this Sleepover movie and why haven't I seen it yet?! Must. Watch. Also, I always have issues tracking down important documents as well. One time, I tried to get Pinterest cute and made a binder of important documents, but then never really filled it. Oops.

  8. There is nothing better then some girl time and watching old favorites. Sometimes the cheesier the movie, the better it was. I remember loving that movie! haha Just last week my mom was in town and we watched Legally Blonde, I surprisingly still had all the lines memorized. Oh man how many times I must have watched that show! hahaha And your trip to Rocky Point sounds like a total blast! I have been itching to go on a couples trip!

  10. I am not alone in my obsession with Mary-Kate and Ashley?! This is fantastic! I've only been to Mexico once, but Cabo was great. Once you get your passport, you'll have too much fun trying to fill it up. :)

  13. I love that you named this after an Olsen Movie! Good luck finding it, although you can always get a new one or get your passport rushed! My friend in college had a major meltdown and got a new one two days before!
