Mexico diaries day 1 | LOVELY LITTLE RANTS

Mexico diaries day 1

See day 2day 3day 4&5

Oh hey. I mentioned a taste of how wonderful Mexico was in the last post but holy guacamole (hahahah get it, guac cause mexico) (ps can you tell I'm having major withdrawls? and ps again the answer to that question is YES) Well yeah, it was pretty great. Jason and I haven't been on a real vacay since our honeymoon last August. And basically when you're busy like 100% of the time and you haven't vacationed with your husband in a long time, you NEED a vacay.

Jason speaks spanish so it made traveling in Mexico like a million times easier cause he could talk to everyone and figure stuff out! He would speak spanish and I would just sit there and stare at my sexy spanish speaking husband and have absolutely no clue what the heck they were saying. It was preee sick.

Anyways, our friends Ashley & Tanner invited us to go and oh my gosh, bless their perfect souls because they are officially the best people to vacation with. So the 4 hour voyage began on Wednesday and we were going to leave at 7AM. Well yeah, our alarm went off and Jason and I were clearly really tired cause we were up till 2 am packing sooooo 7am departure did not take place and we left around 8:30 which is still good. We drove and drove and stopped at this cute little gas station that had a dog. And Ash made friends with the cute pup while the boys got Mexican insurance and blah blah blah.  The town was called Why anddd next to the gas station was this gorgeous painted aztec trailer thing!

Look at his eyes!!

We finally got to our Condo (we stayed in Casa Blanca in case you know where that is/care) and it was beautiful and stocked with everything you needed to survive (besides food) but it was awesome and we had gone grocery shopping the night before and just brought everything with us in a cooler so we stocked the kitchen with our junk food (sorry body) (actually not sorry because those puffy Cheetos were worth every dumb calorie)
We basically got there, unpacked a little, and got right into swim suits and headed to the beach!
By the way J and I found a sting ray in the water and we probably stared at it for like 15 minutes because we were so excited about seeing one haha

basically 20% of our pictures are one of us turing off the gopro haha

That night we saw a little mexican taco stand on the side of the road and they charged us like $22 for some tacos! Like teeny tacos. obviously over charged. But they were pretty good tacos so I guess I forgive them. That night we popped some extera buttery popcorn and ended the night with the movie The Other Women. and ps that movie is pretty good but the last 20 minutes are pretty cheesy/dumb. k bye :)

ps my swim suit & bottoms are from victoria's secret & jason's is RVCA from Nordstrom Rack.
All our pictures were taken with our GoPro or on my cannon camera. The pole is a gopro pole :)

  10. I loved this post....your writing style is hilarious and I feel like we could be friends in real life ha! Love that your husband speaks Spanish so fluently. I took 2 semesters in college and still try and practice with any Spanish kids I have in class. They think I'm crazy but I get excited when I can remember something I learned!
