Cardigan: c/o Lucy + Lyla via Groopdealz | v-neck: victoria's secret PINK | leggings: f21 | Sandals: Target
Happy Monday!
Right now I am doing what I do best- avoiding responsibilities. Go me! I should be studying for my math test that is on THURSDAY and making pallet signs because I have to get 12 done in 1.5 weeks before we head up to Utah for LDS conference. So yeah I'll get right on that....
This cardigan is from Groopdealz via their birthday celebration. (thanks, guys!!) It isn't something I would have normally picked out but I actually really love it! Isn't that the best? I've worn it a few times in this 100 degree weather because I'm just crazy, ok? Winter usually seems to pop up in Arizona mid-end October so typically I try to test the waters with some winter clothes early and end up 1) making myself sweat unnecessary 2) looking a little crazy to the tank top daisy dukes wearing population 3) there's no three but I feel like lists should always have at least 3 points.
Also the groopdeals $50 giveaway is still going on right over here! Free money people, freeee money.
In other news, this weekend was a real treat (per usual) Last minute some friends and I had a sleepover. Yup, married folks still have sleepovers with their friends. Jason always wants me to have fun with my friends (because I work 99% of my life) so he got my little bum out the door with a kiss and off I went to the sleepover. We pained our nails and ate food that I don't know if I regret (kinda do gosh dangit) and just did girly things. It was great. Jason had a friend over and they did boy stuff like play halo and probably lift weights or something (boys do that, right??)
Saturday I got so much done as far as the sign business goes so that is always a good thing to me! Sunday was church and family and then homework for like 2 hours. I only got really frustrated at my math like 3 times guys (ps that's a good thing) Thank HEAVENS Jason is a genius and an accounting major because he basically reteaches me my math and helps me get my homework done before I explode into a million pieces because I don't understand some parts. And not understanding some parts is the worst ever. Thanks for your help, J. You da best.
I just decided to write and write and give you the ol' weekend speal (I don't think I've done a whole weekend speal before) so have a great Monday as far as Monday's go, babes!

DeleteHOW IS YOUR BUN SO PERFECT?! Also, love the cardigan. Yes, guys totally lift weights when they hang out. I mean, what else would they do?!
ReplyDeleteK youuuu are the nicest to say that!! A few elastics and bobby pins and it magically stayed put. Yeah they do manly stuff right?? I just assumed weights would only make sense!! hahah ;)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jess!! I post all of my signs on the sign instagram account if you'd like to see what I've been working on :) @frameddecor xo
DeleteSleepovers are the best! No matter how old we get. Actually...I take that back. I think they get MORE fun the older we get :)

DeleteThis sweater looks so stinkin' cozy - you pretty much just look adorable! I love that you had an adult sleepover this weekend - I think it's important to do things like that from time to time! I'm with you and work a majority of the time, so my husband reminds me to take time for myself once in a while, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Karly!! Yeah it was so fun! I don't think I've done a sleep over since I got married so it was just a good time! Thank heavens we have such sweet husbands who force us to go have fun once in a while haha :) xo
DeleteEven though your life sounds crazy busy it still sounded like a fun weekend. And yes on Monday I'm always avoiding responsibilities....gross who wants to deal with Monday? And I'm all for adult sleepovers, just another reminder that I'm not ready to really be an adult :|
ReplyDeleteliz jo @ sundays with sophie
It was super fun and nice to take a break from working allll the time for a second. Gahhh what even are responsibilities and why do they exist?! ;) I am soooo with you, I like having fun way more than I like trying to learn this whole adult thing haha

DeleteUgg, I am so awful at math, so I can certainly sympathize. Thank goodness you have an able teacher. :) I love your new cardigan, and it is also so cute that you do sleepovers. Time with girlfriends is definitely good for the soul!
ReplyDeleteSeriously it is so hard for me, too!! I would probably fail if I didn't have Jason to help me so much. Thank you!!! haha I think this was the first sleepover I've had since being married and it was so much fun!!
DeleteThat sweater is so cute! We had lovely weekend weather on the chilly side and I was excited to wear some of my new fall things. Good luck with the math!

DeleteI could totally use that sweater this fall! It's gorgeous! And I love your sandals. Might have to make a little trip to Target today to pick up a pair :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till it's chillier out so I can wear it and not me so hot haha and thank you!! They sell similar sandals of these at payless, too, sooooo I will be making a trip there soon :)
DeleteLove the sweater! That sleepover sounds so fun!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! It was super fun!! :)
DeleteHaha! I always feel like lists should have three points too! I've done the same thing when I've been numbering things. :) Glad you love this cardigan! It's so nice to try something out that you normally wouldn't! :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for grown up sleepovers! How fun! I've done that a couple of times since we got married when Christopher is traveling for work. It's fun to get together with the girls! :)
Christopher was an accounting major in college too! I feel like that automatically would make him and Jason friends. ;)
hahah yay you see what I mean! You can't just have a list that ends at 3 points, that's just crazy. Yeah at first I wasn't sure about the cardigan (before trying it on) and then I was like wait I LOVE THIS. go Groopdealz!! :)
DeleteOh my gosh Jason & Christopher would totally be friends and bond over numbers and stuff :) I don't know how I would pass my math class without Jason haha
I kid you not, this is my ultimate weekend look! The leggings, sandals, and a big comfy sweater... cover me in happiness and show me the couch! Too cute. Glad you had a great weekend :)
