Adelle the hand model
So this post is like 2 weeks overdue but it's cool guys, it's cool.
My besties Shaney & Adelle were in town a few weeks ago! We were all high school best friends (with a short hiatus ;) ) and basically after we all graduated they moved away (what the heck guys??) So basically whenever they come to visit, life just gets better! Usually when Shaney comes to town, we literally stay up till 4am (literally) and I always fall asleep on the couch while her and Jason have some deep conversation that I wish I were alert enough to listen to.
Side note- I have this theory. In every relationship, someone is the 'talker' like, they're the one who talks the most when you're out together while the other spouse is quieter and listens to the conversations occasionally adding input. Jason is the talker and Shaney is the talker so obviously I get to listen to some really good convos when we're together.
I love it though because I always learn lots of new things haha
So it was awesome that Shaney and her husband, Christian, came to town because we hired them to work for Framed! Seriously we are all so excited about it! And plus I need the help like bad. How this business has grown the way it has is so crazy/exciting! But busy busy busy and I NEED help. We got most of the supplies they need and trained them the special ancient ways on how to make pallet signs (super ancient secret ways;) ) (just kidding) and they could basically just start their own pallet business right now pretty much now but luckily they want to work for us. Phew. The conclusion from training is that we need to get shirts made. Like asap.
The next day we met them at Top Golf in Arizona for Christian's birthday. Let me tell you something about golf:
That's all I know. So yeah, if you couldn't tell that big blank space means I know nothing, absolutely nothing about golf. I usually like to drive the golf cart (when available of course) but Top Golf is like a super upscale driving range so no golf carts and I was forced to learn how to golf. Which let's face it, should have happened way long ago. We were on the lower level and Jason probably spent 10 minutes trying to teach me how to hold the club so.... Once I mastered holding a stick, he tried to teach me how to hit because apparently one arm HAS to be straight and one HAS to be bent to make a good hit or stroke or whatever it's called when you hit a golf ball. So once I didn't master that and made lots of accidential air strikes at a stationed ball, I decided that I needed to just take my turn and let everyone else go. I did hit a ball a couple of times! I'm pretty sure my score was 16. That isn't a joke. I think Jason's was like 180 or something impressive to people who understand golf. Everyone else had good scores (as far as I know) Jason LOVES golf and is pretty good at it! Honestly though, my favorite part was him teaching me because, you know, an attractive person with their arms slipped around yours helping you learn something, tell me that's not an ideal situation, just try and tell me. Honestly, even though I was understanding what he was teaching me I would be like "wait... help me do it again..." ;) The things I do for love.
ps I always stalk asos at the end of summer for their swim deals. Tops and bottoms for $5-$10 each. I just snatched these up (see below) YOU ARE WELCOME.
