It's been a busy week over here | LOVELY LITTLE RANTS

It's been a busy week over here

The title says it all you guys. Couldn't have been more descriptive! So Monday I was invited to this blogger/ shop owner event with a bunch of other blog/shop owners! It was dinner and a movie at Fat Cats in Gilbert, and lemme tell ya, reclining chairs are the best thing to come to this world like ever. I took a couple pictures but the lighting was so terrible I'll spare you the yellowish/ overly exposed mess of pictures. But it was great and I got pizza.

The movies there are only $5 on Tuesdays so obviously Jason and I went the next day, too. We saw Pan and it was great and all but it seemed so longggg haha I don't do well in super long movies because I just want to move around and not be sitting for 2 straight hours. Jason loved it!!

After we went to this place called The Soda Shop. Basically you pick your soda and you choose flavors to get put into it. We go way too much. I like NEVER drink soda so it must be good if we go at least once a week!

Yesterday we went to my sweet grandma's funeral. She passed away last week and is missed so much!! It was a beautiful service and I guess I'm pretty comforted to know she gets to be with my grandpa now in heaven. Maybe she's up there teaching my future kids all about life and helping them be a cool as she was :) Who knows! It was great hearing everyone's stories and remembering such a loving woman.

This is most of my family on my dad's side at the grave site. I'm so glad it's close by so I can visit my grandparents gravestones. <3

I'm pro and forcing a good ol car selfie haha Jason knows I take them and doesn't even blink an eye! So obviously he loves them, too.

I've been more active....on snap chat hahah if I could carry that zeal in being active in working out, life would be great.  But for now snap chat is getting all my activity. My username is kahandace (long story) (jk it's just an 8th grade nickname) so add me if you care to see me do things like 1. be weird 2. scare Jason 3. probably other pointless things.

We have a ton of family in town right now and I am excited to spend time with them this weekend, make signs (per usual (I probably didn't even need to say that cause you already know), and eat food, and go to the soda shop prolly.

xo

  8. So sorry to hear about your grandma! I know what you mean about your kids not meeting your grandparents. Mine have all passed away and while we were planning the wedding I stumbled on someone's candid wedding photo of the bride and her grandpa hugging and I lost it thinking about how none of my grandparents got to see me get married, or even graduate college.

I definitely want to see Pan! I'm with you though, I feel like long movies are better to watch at home because you can pause for snack/bathroom breaks, or even watch it in segments!

  22. Sorry I'm so late commenting on this, but I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma passing! I'm realizing that getting older means a lot of sad events like this :( It seems like every week we're getting a call from Johns parents that someone is not doing well. But it's also a reminder that life is short, so let's appreciate it right? Anyways, onto happier things, the soda shop sounds cool! And I love the spooky decorations lol. Also every time I see a picture if Jason and he looks so happy and smiling I think, "John would never do that" haha. Sometimes I can get him to smile for me, but he gets so mad when I'm like, "ok stand here and let's take a picture." Maybe he will get used to it now that I'm a "blogger" lol. (Am I even allowed to call myself that haha?) And I hope this is okay to say, but you look super cute at the funeral. Love the lipstick and dress (from where??????) and also, you're Dad is tall!! I think I've said that before haha. But it probably just surprises me because you're so tiny lol.

  23. Thank you M!!! Yeah it's crazy to know that my grandparents are just gone :( And true, just have to appreciate what we have right now!!

K look at the car picture!! haha Jason knew it was happening and that face pretty much is a good description on how he feels about pictures 50% of the time. And how he feels about taking blog pictures of me 90% of the time haha :) Don't let those smiles fool you!! You are totally a blogger!!! SO John has to get used to it :) And thank you!!! The lipstick is l'oreal paris Matte-r of fact & the dress is from Groopdeals (via Lucy and Lyla) of course groopdealz haha pretty much the only place I ever shop now a days. K so you might not agree but my cousin in the group photo on the far left looks kinda like John to me!! I was thinking that this weekend, like hey... they kinda look alike! What do you think?
