Mr. GQ over here ^

31 weeks and 5 days over here! Baby girl is large and in charge as you can see. I told this story on my snapchat the other day but I have to document here, too, for memories sake :) So my doctor is such  a sweetie and always so nice! He knows i've been nervous about weight gain and whats normal and stuff so every time I've gone in, he usually says something like "wow you're still so tiny! Can people tell you're pregnant yet?" when of course people have been able to tell for a few months now haha Anyways, this last appointment, he goes "oh it looks like you're showing now, you can't hide it anymore!" Which I just thought was so funny because in my head I was like "you little sweetie trying to make me feel like a million bucks when you can clearly tell I am pregnant!" So needless to say, if you need someone to tell you you are a skinny minnie when you are 31 weeks pregnant, go see my doctor asap :) He is so nice!!

Let's see, let's see, third trimester has been a flashback to the good ole sick days. Nausea is back, not as strong as before thank goodness! Something new is I am SO TIRED all the time! I've been tired in the past but I was fine without taking a nap. These days, I have to take a nap almost everyday or else I feel like I haven't slept in years. I guess that is prep for when baby comes and I will be tired a lot more often. My internal clock is great and wakes me up everyday at like 5am so that's fun! ;) The savage hunger is back and reminding me to eat every .1 second. I swear baby girl will come out 20 pounds and looking like a toddler with how much I feel like I have to eat. Usually I wake up and I am so starving!! Luckily I can go longer throughout the day without feeling like food runs my life. Headaches are a common occurrence but thank heavens for a chiropractor father in law, neck adjustments are my new favorite things ever and usually clear my headaches right up! I hope I don't sound complain-y or anything, I just want to write down everything that is happening so I can remember it and compare it later :) I don't keep a real journal so this is all I got!

So far I found 2 stretch marks on my stomach, let's all pray that those are the first and last ones haha She is soooooo active and moving ALL the time! It's fun to guess what the heck she is doing in there or poking around and, like, playing with her if that makes sense?? So she will move/kick or something and then I'll poke where she is pushing against my stomach, and then she'll move and then kick me back. I call it playing but she might just be like "hey STOP poking me!" who knows!!

8 weeks left until she is in our arms. So crazy to even think about, it's going by so fast!!!

  6. These next 8 weeks are about to FLY by!!! Haha just consider that from this point until the rest of your life, you'll be tired. (; Tired, but so very happy. Advice I always give to new moms, is that the first month is HARD. You will be tired, cranky, frustrated, and a million other emotions. If you can make it to that one month marker, you've got this in the bag! (: Can't wait for you to welcome your baby girl!

    1. hahah very true! I hope I can get her on a good schedule. I hear people with schedules and their babies sleep like 10 hours a night by 6 weeks! GOALS!! That is perfect advice and so good to know that when I feel those emotions, I'm not crazy and that it's normal haha

  10. I felt like that when I was pregnant! That all I was doing was eating. I ended up gaining nearly a third of my body weight, I was also very tiny when I got pregnant, I am not not nearly as tiny haha. But Sophie came out not nearly as heavy as we thought she'd be with as much as I was eating, but she was incredibly long. I think like 21 inches? Kinda wondering how she fit in there.

So exciting just two more months!!!

  14. I say this in all niceness and really don't mean to be mean. I don't get why some women worry about gaining weight during a pregnancy. Of course you have gained weight and your belly seems huge (but if it helps, it seems to only be the belly). But that's normal and great! You have a baby in there! It's a miracle!

    1. I know you are so right, it's 100% normal!! I think I just have a hard time reminding myself that it is pregnancy weight and it is GOOD to gain it! I have never weighed this much in my life and my body has already changed so much, so sometimes I let myself worry too much about it. Thank you for the reminder :)

    2. Remind yourself that it's mostly water, extra blood, a placenta and a cute little baby! Some of it is fat (which has to be) and since you were thin and fit before pregnancy you will lose it soon enough.

I'm glad that you didn't take my comment as a hate comment! And by the way, I'm not constantly sitting in front of your blog to respond that quickly, I got an e-mail that you commented...

    3. Yeah exactly, there's a lot of extra stuff in there right now and of course baby girl is getting bigger so obviously I am getting bigger as she is stuffed in there haha

And I totally do that too, get notified when people reply because I like to know what they said back! :)
