36 weeks and 4th of July!

dress: shein shoes: fashion Q

Exactly 4 more weeks until baby is here!! Well, her DUE date is in 4 weeks from today but she might just come sooner (or later, who knows!) Mostly my main "symptom" or whatever you'd like to call it is being tired a lot. Baby girl is doing lots of last minute growing so I can understand the tiredness and I welcome a nap so it's cool. Belly is getting bigger still and she is moving all the time so I think she is trying to figure out how to break out of there. I don't blame her, I want her to break out, too! Jason and I are officially at the point where we decided we are ready whenever she is (you hear that, baby? Come whenever you're all healthy and ready, k??) Also- still haven't decided on a name! She will probably be named at the hospital!

The other day I went swimming and tried to pull myself out of the pool on the side and I was surprised that it was actually really hard, haha. With this extra weight working real well with gravity, I had to try like 3 times to actually pull myself out! Everyone keeps asking me if I'm super hot here and honestly, I feel like Arizona is just hot, pregnant or not! I stick to being inside mostly anyways so I mostly just notice the heat if I walk outside into this blow dryer I call home ;)

4th of July was perfect! We spent the day at Jason's parent's house with all the other families and swam, ate, played, napped, ate more, and watched fireworks. I love spending time over there, especially with everyone there, and Dave + Denise (my inlaws) never disappoint with food. Dave made ribs, but then wasn't sure if someone would want steak, so he made that too, then threw on chicken and fish because someone might want those! It was all so good!!

Later that night J and I started driving to a fireworks show and turned around to snag a blanket from his parents house to sit on. When we drove back, there were a few families set up in the park next to his house and it looked like someone was going to do a fireworks show! We went in and told everyone and we all just decided to stay and watch. The people in the park had about $1500 worth of legit fireworks so it was honestly perfect! No crowds and we were super close to the show, win win! A cop came by and didn't really shut it down but kind of said he was just doing his job by letting the people know technically they can't be lighting legit fireworks in a park but when he left, the show went on haha. Jason, Dave, and Ian (brother in law) were little sweeties and stayed late to prime our crib for the final white coat so we can put it up!! You guys, baby girl will be HERE to sleep in that crib so soon and it doesn't even seem real!! We can't wait :)

  3. how nice is that a free firework show! Before our former neighbors moved they would always shoot off a lot of fireworks for New Years Eve and Fourth of July so it was always nice to be at home and see a show for free!

I made 36 weeks right on Christmas when I was pregnant with Sophie, we went to a holiday party about a week before I ended up giving birth and everyone kept telling me that I looked like I was about to pop! Talk about being way uncomfortable! I can't wait to see what you name her :)

    1. Do shows cost where you live? I think everywhere in AZ is free (as far as I know) but it was sure nice to avoid all the crowds and just watch from a few feet away from home for sure! Awh it's so crazy, baby can literally come any day, just a waiting game pretty much!! I can't wait to see what we name her, either haha fingers crossed my choice gets picked ;)

  5. i just love your whole attitude about pregnancy. I'm the same way with mine...just come when you want to come baby! that's all that matters, you know? you just seem so relaxed and not frazzled, and that's so good for baby! you're also making me excited to get further along in my pregnancy, I'm about 20 weeks behind you, and seeing you at the end makes me happy!

    1. Awh thank you so much!! And exactly!! All I care about is that she is ready and HEALTHY whenever she comes. That's all that matters to me! Congrats on your pregnancy, too :) It goes so fast but so slow at the same time haha So so so exciting!!!

  6. You are adorable! Glad to hear you had a lovely July weekend! Cops have to say that. I feel like as long as people aren't being stupid, it's a waste of an officers time to bother. I bet you got home a lot faster than wasting in the post firework traffic that typically follows the weekend's festivities! (:

    1. Thank you!!! If 42 weeks is what it takes, bring it on!! haha def ready to have her here but I know how important those last few weeks are so if she needs them, she can have them I decided. But this heat tho!!! I would not be mad if she decided to be ready sooner than later ;)

  9. My daughter was born in September, so I completely understand summer pregnancies in AZ!
That's so awesome that you had a little fireworks show all to yourselves! I grew up in California and every year the cops would come to our neighborhood party to "tell us to stop" using fireworks, haha!
