Brighton's birth video! My friend Megan from Sessions Films made it and I am so obsessed. I've probably watched it at least 100 times a day. Whenever the music starts playing, Jason's like "you're watching it again?!!!!!" haha and I'm always like "yes, shh, now I have to start it over because you talked!" Megan was so awesome and wanted to make sure she didn't miss the actual birth and camped out at the hospital alllllll night when we were first checked in. Once we realized it was going to take a lot longer than we anticipated she went home and waited to hear the word from us on when to come back.
It sounds dumb but that was one thing I was disappointed about with having a c section, that I couldn't have a "normal" birth video anymore with all the moments you get in a typical birth video. When she sent me this, I was literally so shocked that it was so amazing!!! She still got so many perfect moments and details without being there for the actual birth! Like I don't even know how it could have been any better. Basically, Megan is amazing! I will be that annoying mom that forces my kids to watch their birth videos every birthday or something and then cry because I'll be like "my babbyyyyyyy!!!!" as I watch it and see that they're growing up. Can't wait! ;)
Also I wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! Sooooooooo many people reached out after reading my birth story and so many people had super similar situations or just had such kind things to say! I want to say thank you individually to everyone but that might take a little longer and I wanted to say this really quick! I've felt so grateful for all the love and kindness and stories people have shared. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who takes 100 years to birth a baby. But really, thank you!!!
